Department of Computer Science

The Department of Computer Science was started in the year 2008. The Department of Computer Science offers B.Sc (Computer Science), M.Sc (Computer Science) and Ph.D (Full Time and Part Time). The Bharathidasan University, Trichy has given permanent affiliation to this department to offer the above courses. The department has one regular faculty and two Guest Lecturers appointed by Bharathidasan University. While students pursue the courses, the faculty members of this department impart knowledge in Computer Science and help the students to develop the necessary technical skills and attitudes required to compete in the modern computer environment.
Faculties of this department take part in various seminars, workshop and conferences. Currently one Guest Lecturer is pursuing Ph.D in Computer Science. Regular faculty member of this department had published a number of research articles in the international journals, participated in national and international conferences and had given many lecture talks. This department is also involved in research activities, 01 student submitted the Ph.D thesis and 04 students pursuing the Ph.D in this department.
